Seneca Falls

Convention

The year is 1848, and there is growing discontent over the status of women in society. This discontent has grown highly significant, so significant that a group of five women organized a convention in Seneca Falls, New York to discuss their unhappiness regarding the status of women. Many crucial issues will be addressed in this convention, such as women’s suffrage, legal and property rights, and social and moral equality. This convention aims to plant the seed for future women’s rights movements, with delegates being tasked with debating early women’s rights issues and constructing plans for gender equality.
