
Our Mission
The CBA Model United Nations Service Organization (MUNSO), created in 2025 by the President and Vice-President of CBA Model UN, seeks to build our community through service and develop globally aware leaders, allowing members to engage in meaningful projects that promote diplomacy and civic engagement. This organization, by utilizing CBA Model UN’s logistical and financial powers, seeks to empower worthwhile and transformative service within our community.

The chief officer of the Board of Directors of CBA MUNSO holds a pivotal position within the organization. As the lead coordinator of various service projects, this individual is tasked with overseeing the development, execution, and management of initiatives that promote community engagement and collaboration.
This important role directly reports to the CBA Model UN Moderator, ensuring close communication and alignment with the overall goals of the organization.

The Vice-Chair for Finance plays a vital role in the organization's financial stability and growth. This executive is responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies that align with the organization’s overall goals.
This role reports directly to the Chair of CBA MUNSO.

The Vice-Chair for Operations is the chief officer in charge of all operational aspects of the organization, which includes overseeing a diverse array of service projects, managing logistical arrangements, and ensuring that all initiatives are executed efficiently and effectively. This role is pivotal in coordinating efforts among team members and maintaining high standards of performance that align with the organization's mission and objectives.
This role reports directly to the Chair of CBA MUNSO.

The Vice-Chair for Community Outreach is responsible for coordinating events with the CBA community and promoting engagement and participation in Model UN activities. This role works with students, faculty, and local organizations to create and collaborate on service events.

The primary responsibility of the Vice-Chair for Public Relations is to significantly enhance local awareness and understanding of the organization’s mission and objectives. This role involves actively promoting the core values and goals of the organization to the surrounding community through social media and local outreach.

The Secretary of CBA MUNSO keeps the organization’s systems organized, working as an assistant to the Chairman. This person oversees the Chairman’s role when the Chairman is not present or, by exigent circumstance, is not able to be a part of the organization.

Service Coordinators (2-4)
Service Coordinators within CBA Model UN play a vital role in enhancing the community engagement of our club members. Collaborating closely with the Executive Board of CBA MUNSO, these individuals are tasked with identifying and coordinating local service opportunities that align with our club’s mission and values.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify Service Opportunities: Research and connect with local organizations to discover various service projects suitable for our members.
Coordinate Events: Plan and execute service events throughout the year, ensuring that each event is well-organized and promotes participation among members.
Engage Members: Facilitate sign-ups and communicate details about service events to ensure maximum involvement from club members.
Evaluate Impact: After each service event, gather feedback and assess the impact of our initiatives, aiming for continuous improvement in our community service efforts.
